Dog’s Peace

Poetic Thoughts

While I make an Apple crumb pie the dogs are not shy.

They love apples.

“Snap, snap…”

they go crunching away.

“Please stay…”

I hear them say

as their happiness is simply being near me.

Feeling dog’s peace sets me free.
