Anita enjoys writing for both children and adults. She makes her home in the peaceful rolling hills of northern Arkansas and is a wife and the mother of a son and two daughters.

Anita worked in public school for more than twenty years as a third grade teacher and a school counselor. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked with teens in residential care. Her hobbies include reading, collecting cookbooks, and maintaining a recipe and home organization blog.
