Outside enjoying a beautiful Fall day at school lunch with her son, Mum has a Yogurt Parfait and Jimmy has an egg and cheese omelet with pancakes.
“I want to be in Kindergarten again,” he says. “They get to do anything.”
“I knew you’d want to be young again someday,” I say and smile inside knowing the truth is alive.
Jimmy gets it now.
To be older isn’t the best – To be young is.
He sees. He knows.
Mum gazes out at the kids on the playground, thankful for this special forever moment that will repeat itself over again…
