Someone once said to me: “You sure have a burden on you.” At the time I did not think to correct the person. I simply walked away not knowing what to say but feeling uncomfortable. I know that people feel sorry for disabled or mentally challenged individuals. Shall we dance?
Tonight a song came on and my daughter started dancing. I mean she was getting down. Arms all akimbo. Bopping up and down. I watched her. Laughing and encouraging her to be the free spirit she is.
